Surfdale Development
The Surfdale Development, on Waiheke Island near Auckland, is a residential and commercial building using innovative design and eco-friendly building materials and technologies to set new standards of excellence for environmental sustainability.
Completed at the end of January 2010, the building is a showcase for sustainable building and features Australasia's first vertical axis wind turbine. The luxury apartment is open to the public as a showhome, during the winter months by appointment. Call 0800 372 100 for a viewing time.
